Dissonance isn't actually bad, but the idea here is that the more consonant the sound is, the better things went on Postmates in that market on a given day.
Deliveries that were on time and had no issues determine the volume of an A major chord, and deliveries that have issues are broken out into different notes that are more dissonant depending on how bad they are.
For example, an early delivery makes a D get louder, the 4th in A major, not too dissonant. A cancellation that happens very late is a D#, or a tritone, very bad news.
